Welcome to Murray Valley Vet
I am Zoe Manning
I chose to become an equine dental vet because I genuinely care about the welfare of horses and believe in the prevention of diseases and behavioral problems in these magnificent creatures. With additional training in equine dentistry and memberships in Equine Dental Vets and Equine Veterinarians Australia (EVA), I bring a wealth of expertise to ensure your horse receives the best care possible.
As an equine dental vet, I strive to create a low-stress dental experience for your horse. Taking the time to build a rapport with your equine companion, I conduct a thorough examination of their mouth, identifying any issues that may be present. Once the examination is complete, I will discuss my findings with you and collaborate on a personalized treatment plan for your horse. Routine problems such as sharp enamel points or hooks will be addressed during the examination itself, a process typically lasting up to 45 minutes per horse.
To conduct a comprehensive examination, sedation is necessary to ensure both the comfort of the horse and the effectiveness of the procedure. Being a qualified veterinarian, I am equipped to provide appropriate sedation for horses and ponies of all ages, ensuring their relaxation and safety throughout the process.
Following the dental examination, you will receive a detailed dental chart for your horse. This chart can be conveniently emailed to you as a PDF or, if you prefer, a printed version can be sent to your address upon request. This allows you to have a comprehensive record of your horse’s dental health and progress.
At our practice, we are committed to delivering exceptional equine dental care while prioritizing the well-being and comfort of your beloved horse. Contact us today to schedule an appointment and give your horse the gift of a healthy, radiant smile.
